Songs, song fragments, poems, and prose poems written on the road by Willie Nelson at various times between the mid-1970's and the early 1980's. Works are handwritten on hotel stationery, airline cocktail napkins, and scraps of paper. Titled pieces include: Let's take it all the way, Sweet destinations, and Safety in numbers. There are two versions of A Bitter pill. Piece titled Stay away from lonely places written with Don Bowman. Also includes 4 song lists. One of the lists is written on the back of a Willie Nelson & Family itinerary dated September 5, 1982.
